Computer Science Career Pathway
The Computer Science Career Pathway explores careers that involve the design, development, support and management of hardware, software, multimedia, and systems integration services. Careers in computer science are for students who are creative and enjoy seeing ideas come to life, have a passion for computers and technology, are problem solvers and seek out challenges.
The IASC Next Computer Science Technology Career Pathway will prepare students for careers in a wide range of occupations that support every sector of the economy. Computer Science Technology involves the design, development, support and management of hardware, software, multimedia, and systems integration services. Courses in the Computer Science Technology Career Pathway may include: information support and services, interactive media, network systems, programming and software development, coding, data security, computer architecture and engineering, and others.
